A Historic Site …
… for a Lifetime Memory
We are delighted to announce our Historic St. Mary’s Chapel has been approved as a Roman Catholic wedding ceremony venue by the Archdiocese of Baltimore!
We are now accepting requests to have our extraordinary site be the historic backdrop and memorable site of your marriage ceremony.
Our wonderfully preserved 1808 Chapel is available to offer you a 210 year-old historic forum in which your most important life event can unfold within intimacy and tradition. In addition, our extensive, professionally designed and manicured gardens are available for your wedding photographs.
St. Mary’s on Paca Street is available only for the wedding ceremony and photographs; reception spaces are available in the nearby downtown area. Our Chapel, however, is within a few miles of most downtown hotels and catering venues, making it a convenient transition for you and your guests.
Plans including St. Mary’s on Paca Street need to be initiated at least six months before the desired date of your wedding. The date, time, and place of your wedding cannot be reserved until you have discussed your plans personally with your Priest or Deacon.

We are delighted that you are considering to be married at St. Mary’s on Paca Street.
You must arrange for your own Officiant—either Priest or Deacon—and they must have permission, delegation, or faculties from the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
The cost to have a Wedding Ceremony at St. Mary’s is $650.00* which includes the gardens for photographs. This does not, however, include the musicians and/or cantor; you will have to make your own arrangements for musicians and cantor and will compensate them directly. St. Mary’s on Paca Street reserves the right to approve the musicians before the ceremony.
*Note—this fee is not for the sacrament itself but encompasses reasonable operating costs and all aspects of the wedding ceremony at St. Mary’s on Paca Street.
It is recommended St. Mary’s on Paca Street receives your full payment at the time of your wedding booking to secure the date and time.
Parking at our site is limited to 20 vehicles; however, there is on-street parking that is not restricted on Saturdays up until 7:00 p.m. There is also a paid lot just across Paca Street.
